The Fayetteville community will celebrate the arrival of Spring
each year during the fourth weekend in April. Named for the Dogwood tree that dominates our cityscape, the festival's
family-centered events and activities include a variety of entertainment
venues. However, many people don't realize that there is a Dogwood Trail that displays
the beauty of not only the Dogwood tree but the historic neighborhoods in which
it can be found.
Dogwood Trail is designed primarily for motorized travel featuring a walking
tour of the Cape Fear Botanical Garden, The Rose Garden of Fayetteville
Technical Community College, the Downtown Historical District, and various
Museums of History, Art and Military Culture.
Take a drive and enjoy our community’s horticulture brilliance and
historical significance. Don’t miss your
chance to see Fayetteville in full bloom!
