Historic Hauntings - Cemetery Walking Tour

Sat October 24th - 6:30 - 10pm

What is it? : A 30 minute guided walking tour in the dark through the Cross Creek Cemetery Section II. This spooky encounter features ghostly stories and TRUE, CREEPY facts about Fayetteville's history. Join us for a historic adventure into Fayetteville’s chilling past. A shuttle will take you from Festival Park to the spirits that await for you in the Cemetery!

*please note - we have changed the event for 2016 - it is a walking tour ONLY - This is not a haunted house - It is historically accurate, CREEPY information. Hayrides are a separate activity/attraction.

Where is it at?: Entrance to the Festival Park/Ray Ave Gate. (335 Ray Ave)

How much does it cost? Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on line or at the gate. Performances occur every 30 minutes. Shuttle departs from Festival Park carrying patrons to cemetery and then returning to Festival Park.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time/selected ticket time. Shuttles do leave on time and will leave without you.

This is a rain or shine (full moon that is) event!
Reservations are NOT required but recommended on-line

Proceeds from this event are used to assist with community projects such as the Cross Creek Cemetery headstone restoration project and to fund unbudgeted equipment and props needs for the Fayetteville Area Transportation Museum and Local History!

* This event does include a walking tour. It is not intended for patrons with limited mobility or strollers. The terrain will include some bumpy terrain and dark corners!
